Golden Reverie (5e Equipment)

The great blade is made of brilliant gold, grafted to a handle made of ruby and etched with many names.
Random Properties. The Golden Reverie has the following random properties:
- 2 minor beneficial properties
- 1 major beneficial property
- 2 minor detrimental properties
- 1 major detrimental property
Magic Blade. Golden Reverie is a +3 magical greatsword with the properties of a defender and a vorpal sword.
Ruby Rod of Asmodeus. The ruby rod of asmodeus set as its handle. A creature attuned to Golden Reverie gains all of the effects of the ruby rod of asmodeus, with the exclusion of its random properties. The additional damage dealt by the ruby rod of asmodeus is added to strikes made with Golden Reverie as a whole, and it cannot be used on its own to make attacks.
Attuning to Golden Reverie also means attuning to the ruby rod of asmodeus, taking two attunement slots.
Cataclysmic Strike. Golden Reverie has a reach of 10 ft and has the versatile property instead of the two-handed property, dealing 2d6 slashing damage when using one hand, and 2d10 slashing damage when using two hands. Additionally, Golden Reverie automatically deals maximum damage on a critical hit.
Hellfire Conduit. As a bonus action, a creature attuned to Golden Reverie becomes a hellfire conduit, which lasts for 3 rounds. While in this state, the creature is encased in a brilliant golden set of plate armor, with the effects of a +3 set of plate armor. The creature is additionally immune to fire damage and the effects of extreme heat, and deals an additional 2d10 fire damage on attacks made with Golden Reverie. While in this state, any creature that comes within 10 ft of the hellfire conduit or starts its turn in that radius takes 2d10 fire damage, and must make a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or be stunned and blinded for one minute. A creature cannot be blinded or stunned by this effect if it cannot see the hellfire conduit. This effect can be used a number of times equal a creature's proficiency bonus, and regains all uses after a long rest.
