Golden Focus (5e Equipment)

Wondrous item, rarity vaires (major) (requires attunement by a spellcaster) This golden focus can take many forms, and it can appear as a golden form of any kind of spellcasting focus. However, it most commonly appears as a golden ball roughly the size of a crystal ball. This item can function as a spellcasting focus for any spellcaster. In addition, it can replace material components that are consumed in the casting of a spell. The Golden Focus is not consumed in the casting of the spell, however. It also can replace items of a certain gold piece value or less. An uncommon Golden Focus can replace material components with a GP cost of 50 or less, a rare Golden Focus can replace material components with a GP cost of 100 or less, and a very rare Golden Focus can replace material components with a GP cost of 500 or less.
