Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement by a spellcaster) This strange item consists of three small golden birds that pin to the user's hair, making it appear as if they perched in the user's hair. This item holds five charges, and can only be recharged by expending spell slots. The user of this item may spend a spell slot as a bonus action, granting the item an amount of charges equal to spell slot level, up to five. Enhanced Spellcasting When the user of this item casts a spell that deals damage, the spell may deal additional damage equal to the amount of charges the items hold up to once per spell. Magic Recovery As a bonus action, the user of this item may spend any amount of charges to regain an expended spell slot equal to the amount of charges spent. Negate Magic As a reaction to seeing a spell cast, the user may cast counterspell at a spell slot level equal to the charges spent (minimum 3).
