Gnomengarde Silk Spider String (5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki

Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement)

This bowstring was crafted from the web of a silk spider. It takes the ingenuity of gnomes to weave the incredibly thin silk into a string that is both durable and flexible enough to withstand the tension required for releasing an arrow. While a nonmagical bow is strung with this bowstring, you gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with that weapon.

The gnomes have discovered that the spider silk string, for some reason, interacts magically with the mushroom wine brewed from the purple mushrooms in Gnomengarde likely due to the wild magic that permeates the area of Gnomengarde. When a few drops of Gnomengarde mushroom wine are dripped onto the string while it is strung to a bow, the bow gains 3 charges. When you hit a creature, you can expend a charge to deal an additional 1d10 damage of a damage type determined using the Gnomengarde Silk Spider String table below. Once the string has been infused with the wild magic of the mushroom wine, it can't be infused again until the next dawn.
