Large elemental, lawful neutral Armor Class 11
Skills Perception +5, Performance +2 Flyby. The glowl doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach. Glow. The glowl emits bright light within a 20 foot radius and dim light within a further 20 feet. ACTIONSClaw. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) slashing damage. Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) fire damage.

Commonly used in hunting alongside sneysers by the efreet, glowls patrol ahead of hunting parties looking for prey. They are also commonly used to track down fugitives and criminals or to act as spies against the azers. While in a normal land their bright tail feathers would be a dead giveaway to their location, glowls fly in the Plane of Fire, so it is extremely difficult to spot them against the sky's flaming hues. |
