The Continent and kingdom of Athelaran.

Massive clouds of darkness, hordes of demons, orcs, goblins, Drakana, and other dark creatures swarm this land, wildlife and monsters alike, all are dangerous, and the Seafarer invasion from the West leaves no room for breathing. There are constant enemies. Despite some being home, they always feel as though they are behind enemy lines. Be careful who sees you, for many are distrustful people, and will most likely attack before you can attack them.

In the West, the Wolves of the West are a prominent fighting force and the most elite in the forces of Athelaran. Jon Selon has trained these men well and leads them well. They protect the West and it's dwellers as best they can, however, beware, for most times, they do not make it in time.

In the East, Die Selign, or the Blessed, are the prominent force, most being from Qualinas, the King of the East has always been on good terms with the good Qualinari, and they work together to maintain order in the East, the Blessed, graceful warriors and healers of Qualinas, and the soldiers of Eastern Athelar.

Athelaran is the focal point of the world, and, looking at a map, would be nearly in the dead centre of the world, no matter where on the world you are, whether it is Soaring Rock, the Dead Lands, of the Lost Isles, Athelaran is the focal point of this world.

Exploring the world of Darenfell, you will come across many different kinds of monsters, but Drakana, Draklings, and their kin are becoming more common. The Drakana are known to summon almost a fog of pitch black darkness. Once within, it seems to muffle all sound besides your own talking-- unless you have a lit lantern with you. Even then, the dark fog itself seems almost alive, pressing against the lantern and trying to snuff its flame. The more lights you have together, the stronger they will be against the dark.

Continents[edit]

Darenfell is home to a few different continents, with no specific names except for the central one; Athelaran.

West of Athelaran is Soaring Rock, a massive chain of islands that amass in the sky. Below that is the Funnel-- which is a gargantuan glacier with a channel straight from one side to the other, straight out of the top. The channel is massive enough to support a whole navy sailing through, and is filled with water. Many myths and legends are told about this Glacier and Soaring Rock, shrouding them in Mystery to the rest of the world.

Kingdoms[edit]

The Kingdoms, unlike the Continents, are many, and each and every one is at odds with the others. One must be prepared for any sort of skirmish or fight that may happen when traversing between the borders.

Renowned Wilds[edit]

The Wilds of Darenfell are vast and Unique, with strange creatures roaming about, and alien landscapes to be discovered and explored.
