Genetic Adept of Symbiote
Prerequisites: You need to be a Klyntar or use the Class Klyntar Host or Klyntar Host, Variant
The Klyntar has the ability to acquire the abilities or traits of the hosts it has been with, accumulating a large arsenal thanks to this, but this can still apply even if the Klyntar has found its final Host.
When having a trapped creature, as an action, the Klyntar will release 4 extra tentacles, whose function will be to connect with the trapped creature, causing the process of copying and adaptation, this process lasts 5 rounds and the creature has disadvantage in trying to free itself, in each of its turns the creature must make a Constitution saving throw against its Dc (8 + Strenght Modifier + Proficiency Modifier), in a failure it is stunned until its next turn and the time of the copying process will be reduced in 1 round. During this time the symbiote will take care of this process, meanwhile you can continue acting to avoid its interruption.
- We are all Venom: By completing this process, you can copy abilities such as action surge, spell slots, class features, feats all thanks to the fact that the Klyntar also copies the memories necessary for the use of the abilities, you get in detail the abilities that creature possesses, making you can take 2 of your choice permanently at the end of this process. The number of skills and traits that can be copied is equal to twice your Constitution modifier, you can also choose whether to replace one skill with another, eliminating the other and taking the new one. increasing your copied abilities to the maximum according to your Constitution modifier, for example by acquiring a spell slot, your Constitution becomes your spellcasting ability in addition to calculating mana with it if you decided to steal this characteristic.
- DNA Collector: By doing this process, you also gain the racial trait of the creature of your choice permanently, being your Constitution Modifier + your proficiency modifier, increasing your maximum copied traits according to your Constitution Modifier.
- Polyglot: You can learn any language of your choice, you form a small tentacle, which touches the creature's neck, this is an imperceptible and quick touch, no action is required but you must be close to the creature, just at the moment of connection you learn the creature's language.
You can take abilities from creatures that are dead, but they must not be more than one day dead, if a creature exceeds this time the copying and adaptation becomes more difficult, you can take an ability and race trait from that creature, no matter how little remains of it, even if it is the smallest bit of DNA or essence, you will copy it, however, you must roll a d100, if you get a 75 onwards you acquire the ability and trait, but if you get less than this you do not acquire the ability and cannot try to copy it again.
