Generic Off-the-Shelf Multipurpose Power Blast Spell
7th-level Evocation
Casting time: 7th
Range: See text
Components: V, S
Duration: 1 minute

You conjure a blast of magical power, which can be your choice of harmless color, sound, and smell. When you conjure the blast, you can choose to affect any one of the following areas: A 30-foot radius sphere centered on a point within range, a 60-foot cone originating from you in any direction you choose, a 150-foot long, 5-foot wide line originating from you in any direction you choose, or a 100-foot long, 10-foot wide line originating from you in any direction you choose. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 8d8 force damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. The spell is so simple, despite its raw power, that once you cast it you can simply hand off control of the spell to your subconsciousness; no concentration required.

You can create a new blast of power as your action on any turn until the spell ends.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the damage of the spell increases by 1d8 for every slot level above 7th.
