Feral Potion (5e Equipment)
Potion, uncommon (minor) When you drink this potion, you transform into a small animal. You return to your true form after 10 minutes or if you are incapacitated or die. The DM must determine what type of animal the potion can turn you, which can be chosen from any creature with a CR of 1/4 or lower that is not a swarm. While in the animal form, you use that creature's stat block, but retain your proficiencies, Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma checks. Any equipment you wear merges with your new form, and any object carried falls to the ground. You can't cast nor concentrate in spells while in this form. You lose the ability to speak normally, but you can speak with animals from the same type of yours or the giant version of those animals. You can also communicate to similar creatures that are not beasts (such as Worgs and Winter Wolves for a wolf form). The DM has the final word on what creatures are eligible. If you are reduced to 0 hit points while in the animal form, you revert back to your normal form, and any remaining damage is carried out to your hit points pool. If you revert to your form in a space not large enough to comport your new size, you suffer 1d10 force damage and is expelled to the nearest unoccupied space. |
