Fast Forward Boots (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Wondrous item, very rare (major) (requires attunement) These dark blue leather boots have 5 charges, and regain 1d4 charges at dawn each day. During your turn, you can mentally command the boots to alter time around you, speeding it up for you while making everything else appear to slow down. You can move a distance up to your movement without using your movement or provoking opportunity attacks, and you can take an extra action during this movement. This action can only be used to take the Attack, Help, Hide, Use an Object, and Search actions. Turquois spirals glow on the sides of the boots during the movement and for a second after the movement ends. With each charge you expend beyond the 1st, you feel the effects of the time displacement more strongly. The effects of each additional charge expended are combined with the effects of the preceding expended charge. When you expend the 2nd charge, you gain disadvantage on your next attack roll or saving throw after the movement ends. When you expend the 3rd charge, your speed is decreased by 10 feet until the end of your next turn after the movement ends. When you expend the 4th charge, you have disadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws you make during the movement. When you expend the 5th charge, you must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw when the movement ends, becoming stunned until the end of your next turn on a failed save. |
