Wondrous item, uncommon (minor) This rectangular iron rod is 2 inches in width and 8 inches in length, and is divided into two nearly identical halves. A square button located at the end of one half of the rod, when pressed as an action, causes that half of the rod to perpetually rotate clockwise at a rate of one rotation every minute. The button can be pressed again to halt the rotation. The axle can exert up to 8,000 pounds of force. Placing any larger of a load upon it causes it to cease spinning until the load is released. The axle relies on background magic to function and as such ceases to turn while in the area of an antimagic field or similar effects. |
