Everbloom Staff (5e Equipment)
Wondrous Item (Staff), artifact (requires attunement by a druid or cleric of nature)
The Everbloom Staff is a legendary artifact of life and renewal, crafted from the Eldertree, the oldest and most sacred tree in Elderglen. Its smooth, vine-entwined shaft is adorned with blooming flowers that never wither, and a glowing emerald rests at its crown, pulsing with nature’s vitality. The staff radiates warmth and rejuvenation, allowing its wielder to command the forces of nature, heal grievous wounds, and even revive the recently deceased. Its most potent ability, Verdant Rebirth, allows the user to restore life to desolate lands, making forests flourish where only barren waste once stood.
The Everbloom Staff was created by the first Archdruid of Elderglen, Sylwen Faelora, as a gift from the spirits of the forest. The artifact was meant to serve as a conduit between the mortal world and the Elderspirit, the guardian force of nature. It has passed through the hands of many rulers and druids, each adding their wisdom and magic to its essence. However, during the Great Blight, the staff was lost, hidden away to prevent it from falling into the hands of those who sought to corrupt its power. Legends say that when Elderglen is in dire need, the staff will bloom anew, revealing its resting place to one worthy of wielding it.

Nature’s Blessing. The land within a 1-mile radius of you is permanently fertile. Dead plants regrow in 24 hours.
Verdant Command. As an action, you can summon a swarm of vines in a 20-foot radius within 60 feet. Creatures in the area must make a DC 17 Strength saving throw or be restrained for 1
Druidic Immortality. You are immune to aging, disease, and poison.
Destroying the Everbloom Staff. Can only be destroyed by severing its connection to the Eldertree, the ancient heart of Elderglen’s life force. To accomplish this, the staff must be taken to the Withered Grove, a cursed land where no life can take root, and placed within the Fane of Decay, an altar dedicated to the god of entropy. There, it must be bathed in the lifeblood of an Elderglen royal, willingly given, to wither its power. As the final step, the staff must be broken under a night with no moon, when the land is most vulnerable to death’s embrace. If any part of the ritual is incomplete, the staff will instead absorb the decay and become even stronger, unleashing wild and uncontrollable growth upon the world.
