Some items have been created specifically for the DC Universe and carry immense powers:

Rings

• Flash Costume Ring: this allows the speedster wearing it to switch into a safe-for-speed suit quickly
• Power Rings: The most famous being the Green, though there are variants such as the Red, Blue, and Purple. This is where the various Lantern Corps get their power.

Lantern Batteries: These are used to recharge an individuals power ring.

Various Other Items

• Kyptonite: The remains of Superman's homeworld of Krypton, which can be used to weaken the superhero. Sought vastly by the criminal underworld.
