Enchanted Sails (5e Equipment)

Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement by a creature proficient with water vehicles) Enchanted sails are a set of sails which may be used by a sailing ship. While you are attuned to a set of enchanted sails that are being carried on a ship, you can mentally command the sails on your turn (no action required on your part) to fill with a strong wind in a direction of your choosing, provided the ship is within 500 feet of you. When you do so, the ship travels in the specified direction at double normal speed, regardless of prevailing wind conditions. For example, a sailing ship with a speed of 2 mph would move at a speed of 4 mph in any kind of weather while it is using enchanted sails. |
