Weapon (any), rare (requires attunement)

This is an enchantment that can be found on a consumable item, such as a scroll, a gemstone or a rune. To use the enchantment, you must choose a weapon that doesn't require attunement, and either recite the written enchantment (in the case of a scroll), attach the gemstone or similar object (in the case of the gemstone) or inscribe the rune, in a process that takes 10 minutes. After that time, the weapon becomes a elemental enchanted weapon, in addition to whatever other benefits it already has, and the item containing the enchantment is destroyed. The weapon now requires attunement to use, and if the weapon is magical, its rarity increases by one size. Legendary weapons can't be enchanted.

An enchanted weapon causes +1d6 damage on a hit. The damage type depends on the type of elemental enchantment found, and it can be of the following types: acid, cold, fire, lightning or thunder.
