Weapon (Magical Instrument), Legendary (requires attunement) Crafted from the twisted branches of an ironwood tree and adorned with shimmering blue dragon scales, this sinister violin, played with a bladed bow, emanates a haunting, spectral beauty. Electrovine. Electrovine Stradivari has 3 charges. As an action while you are holding Electrovine Stradivari, you can expend a charge to play a haunting chord. Grasping weeds and vines sprout from the ground in a 20-foot square starting from a point within range. For the duration, these plants turn the ground in the area into difficult terrain. A creature in the area when you cast the spell must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained by the entangling plants until the spell ends. A creature restrained by the plants can use its action to attack the plants to free themselves. They cannot move that turn. Each round you maintain concentration on this spell, the vines of the entangled creatures produces additional effects on your turn, you will also gain 1 level of exhaustion for each round Electrovine is maintained. Round 2. Then vines crush the creature causing 2d6 force damage. This also prevents them from removing the vines in any way this round. (+1 level of exhaustion to wielder) Round 3. The vines shoot a bolt of lightning through their entire root system to strike all creatures entangled. A struck creature must make a DC15 Dexterity saving throw. The creature takes 10d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.(+1 levels of exhaustion to wielder) Round 4. On a natural 1, Electrovine Stradivari breaks and is destroyed. Electrovine Stradivari regains all expended charges daily at dawn. Page's Pierce Electrovine Stradivari has 3 charges. As an action while you are holding Electrovine Stradivari, you can expend a charge to play a haunting chord. The wielder draws their bladed bow across the strings and it makes an evil hiss. The wielder then points their bladed bow in a direction. An invisible spectral blade forming a line 100 feet long and 5 feet wide blasts out from the wielder's bow tip in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 1d100 piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. (+2 levels of exhaustion to wielder) Each time a successful Page's Pierce is performed, roll a d20. On a natural 1, Electrovine Stradivari breaks and is destroyed. Electrovine Stradivari regains all expended charges daily at dawn. Curse. This Stradivarius is cursed. Attuning to this item curses you until you are targeted by a wish spell. No amount of rest will fulfill the need for a great ale, nor will drinking alone or at a "house party". Only the company of strangers and a beverage poured by a bartender with years of experience will make you feel better. Drinking this way removes 1 level of exhaustion per hour. |
