Weapon (cutlass), Very Rare (requires attunement with a speaker of Ignan) The efreeti, being zealous nobles, insistent on their own superiority, forged this weapon with the broken shards of those fallen before them, infusing their burning souls into a single, heated blade which brings upon the very gusts of the Realm of Fire itself. Even fire elementals, who are already wary of efreeti and their dominating nature, are not safe from the searing edge of this weapon. Unlike the bright flame tongue, this sword hides its brilliant flame within and does not light the way. This magic sword deals an extra 1d6 fire damage to any target it hits. This damage treats immunity to fire damage as resistance instead. Fiery Backlash: While holding this scimitar, if you take any fire damage, your next attack with this weapon deals an additional 2d6 fire damage instead of 1d6. Efreeti Protection: While holding this scimitar, you have resistance to fire damage. Whirling Firestorm: When you take the attack action, you may target any creatures within reach. You make a single attack roll, which is then used against each creature separately. This counts as a single attack for you if multiple creatures were targeted. |
