Medium humanoid, lawful neutral Armor Class 18 (dragonslayer's breastplate)
Saving Throws Dex +9, Int +5, Wis +7 Legendary Resistance (1/Day). If Ornstein fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead. Lightning Spear. Ornstein's weapon attacks are magical. When Ornstein hits with his spear, the weapon deals an extra 27 (6d8) lightning damage. ACTIONSMultiattack. Ornstein makes two spear attacks. Spear. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 10 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage or 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage if used with two hands in melee, plus 27 (6d8) lightning damage. Lightning Tackle (Recharge 5-6). Ornstein streaks across the grounds towards his enemy, clearing everything in his way. Ornstein moves 30 feet in a straight line. Each creature in that line must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage and 27 (6d8) lightning damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one.
LEGENDARY ACTIONSOrnstein can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Ornstein regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn. Swift Dodge. When Ornstein is hit by an attack, he can move up to 10 feet away from the attacker without provoking an opportunity attack by the same enemy. |
The captain of the four knights of Gwyn, Ornstein is well known for his ability at slaying dragons. He wields a lightning-tipped spear and moves nearly as fast as lightning itself, impaling his enemies in a blink of an eye. The only one of the four knights left in Anor Londo, Ornstein is paired up with Executioner Smough to protect the castle. |
