Dragonforger (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Dragonforger
Prerequisites: Proficiency with Arcana
You’ve studied dragons enough to under danger their breaths pose, you’ve used your smith expertise to build a solution. You gain the following benefits:
- You gain proficiency with the smith's tools, if you don't already have it. With one hour of work using the smith's tools and expending 50 gp, you can dragonforge, reinforcing a metallic armor. Choose one damage type: acid, cold, fire, lightning or poison. The next time the creature wearing the dragonforged armor takes damage from that type, the damage is halved. If there's a save to reduce the damage, the save is made at Advantage. This benefit is then lost, needing to be reapplied to the armor.
- Whenever a creature wearing dragonforged armor is attacked by a creature with the dragon type, the attack is made at Disadvantage while the reinforcement is still active.
- While the dragonforge reinforcement is active, the creature wearing it gain a bonus equal to your Intelligence modifier to its saving throws against the Frightful Presence and Wing Attacks of dragons.
