NOTE: This magical weapon is intended for use in the Eberron campaign setting.

Weapon (any melee weapon), very rare (major) (requires attunement)

This weapon has a built-in docent that helps its wielder on the battlefield. It also has a +1 bonus to its attack and damage rolls.

Sentience. A docent weapon is a sentient weapon of any alignment with an Intelligence of 16, a Wisdom of 14, and a Charisma of 14. It perceives the world through the lens on the weapon and through built in noise receptors. A creature that attunes to the weapon can communicate telepathically with it over a distance of 1 mile, and it understands and can speak the languages that the attuned creature knows. The docent weapon can also communicate telepathically with up to 10 creatures (attuned or not) at a time, as long as all 10 creatures are within 100 feet of it. The creatures don't need to share a language to understand the docent weapon, nor does the weapon need to share a language with the creatures.

Personality. A docent weapon is designed to advise and assist its attuned wielder. Docent weapons are most commonly used to increase the accuracy of a creature's attacks and add a little boost to their deadliness. The docent weapon's properties are under its control, and if you have a bad relationship with your docent weapon, it might refuse to assist you.

Charges. A docent weapon has 6 charges and regains 1d4 + 2 of these charges after every 24 hours. These charges are used to fuel the weapon's abilities.

Guided Strikes. A docent weapon can increase the accuracy of the wielder's strikes. The weapon can choose to grant the attuned creature advantage on its next attack roll with it by spending 1 charge. This benefit is lost if it isn't used within 1 minute of activation.

Force Boost. A docent weapon can increase the effectiveness of its blows. The weapon can make the attuned creature's attack with it deal an additional 1d6 force damage per charge spent on this feature. This benefit is lost if it isn't used within 1 minute of activation.
