This item appears to be a ornamental paper lantern with a handle/grip hanging from underneath it. It has a height limit of 60 feet above anything more dense than normal air (this includes: fog, clouds, significant amounts of floating dust, evaporated oils, and most toxic gases)

Size: Small

Hit Points: 1 (damage threshold 1)

Misc. Info. The lanterns effect only occurs at night, under a moon that is no more than half full, with nothing (leaves and living wood excluded) obstructing the view of the sky. When the handle is gripped it is capable of carrying one creature, only limit is it must have hands, for a nightly total of 4 hours. The timer resets at dawn. If multiple creatures are using it, it acts as feather fall.

If an effect/event that causes a permanent night occurs, most restrictions to time limit, capacity (changed to 2), and activation conditions (except obstruction of the sky) are removed or altered, and speed is doubled.

This item is no more durable than a standard paper lantern but rapidly regenerates form anything short of a wish spell, regeneration takes different amounts of time depending on the type of damage.

• Water damage: 1 round

•Tears and Cuts: 1 minute

• Burning and Acid: 10 minutes

• Any more extreme damage: 1 hour

When a permanent night is active

Time limit is removed and can be used indefinitely

It can be used no matter the moon phase
