Demonic Dagger (5e Equipment)
Weapon (dagger), rare (major) (requires attunement) This weapon has a straight blade with dark-necrotic fluid running down to the tip from the handle and on a hit, the weapon does 2d4 necrotic damage. this weapon has 7 charges, if you spend all of the charges the weapon's fluid dissipates, and all magic is lost. You gain 1d6 +1 charges daily per dawn. Demon Blood (2 Charges). If you hit with this weapon, as a bonus action you can open the tip of the blade to spill the fluid into the target doing an extra 1d6 acid and necrotic damage. Blood Mist (3 Charges). If you spin the dagger in a circle and open the tip a foggy blood-red mist appears 30 feet away from you in a 20-foot radius for 1 minute and you cannot see in or out of the mist but whoever is in it for the first round or ends their turn in it has to succeed a 14 Wisdom saving throw and on a fail hears whispers and sees images of their loved ones or themselves getting killed by a masked figure in front of them as if it were real and take 1d10 + 4 psychic damage and cannot take its turn for that round, but if they succeed nothing happens. Life Drain Self (1 Charge). You stab yourself with the dagger and do not open the tip of the blade but instead absorb some of your blood and do 1d4 + 2 necrotic and piercing damage, but on your next attack you do an extra 1d6 + 3 necrotic damage. Demonic Blast (7 Charges). Once you activate this power there is no turning back, the blade floats in the air 60 feet away from you and glow fragments of black light and explodes in a 25-foot radius and does 2d12 + 6 necrotic damage. |
