Weapon, artifact (Requires attunement)

Crafted by a powerful grave cleric, the cleric wished to fully channel and control the forces of life and death, and channeled both powers into this weapon. They were torn apart by the sheer power, but the blade survived, remaining as a warning to those who wish to dabble with forces beyond their control. Clerics can attune to this weapon as an action, and are automatically proficient with the weapon as long as they are attuned to it.
Magic Weapon Dec's Benevolence is a magical weapon that grants +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. It can also be used as a spell focus.

Blade Damage

  • Top Blade- 2d10 Slashing, 3d12 Necrotic damage.
  • Bottom Blade- 2d10 Slashing, 3d12 Radiant damage.

Blessings of The Forge

  • Top Blade- Always casts Vampiric Touch on a hit. (3d6 Necrotic damage, regain hit points equal to half the amount of necrotic damage dealt)
  • Bottom Blade- Angelic Touch on a hit. (3d6 Radiant damage, regain hit points equal to half the amount of radiant damage dealt)

Benevolence Surge Once per turn you can spend your action to use Benevolence Surge to attack with both the top and bottom blades one of which you may attack with twice and once with the other. Roll separate rolls for each attack. If you critically fail the second or third attack you take one point of exhaustion per miss. you may not use this ability any time you have exhaustion points gained from this ability.
Destroying the Dec's Benevolence. Dec's Benevolence can only be destroyed one blade at a time. The top blade must be drenched in the Positive Plane, and the bottom blade must be drenched in the Negative blade. Once both blades are destroyed, the handle cracks apart into dust.
