Deathcleaver (5e Equipment)

Weapon (greataxe), legendary (requires attunement) This massive greataxe is the chosen weapon of Muama. Typically the deity keeps the weapon hidden as a staff by his side. When contract holders default on their bargain, Muama chooses Deathcleaver to collect. The dance they perform, alive or dead, is always joyous for the god of death and trickery. When its not being fashioned as a staff, the weapon is a single solid piece of obsidian steel. You gain +1 to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Creatures you hit must roll a DC 19 Wisdom saving throw or be affected by the spell irresistible dance. Wielders of this weapon deal double Strength modifier damage while wielding it with two hands. Hidden Appearance. Deathcleaver appears as a simple staff of a beggar. The wielder can use a command word to change the weapon back to its natural form.
