Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement by a creature who was brought back from the dead at least once.)

This cape is but one of the many pieces of the deadman's armaments. This magical item was enchanted with shadow magic from the Shadowfell and also contains the spirit of a lonely traveler who died unknowingly. This traveler was said to have saved many people from the shadows, and in his last moments before death, he managed to create a set of magic items which allows their wearer control over shadows.

Shadow Is Just As Fast As Light. This cape allows you to phase in and out of the Shadowfell at a remarkable speed. While in this state, a shadow swirls around you and you appear to be splitting in two. As a bonus action, for 30 minutes you may gain the effects of either the haste spell without any of the downsides when the spell ends or the effects of the Etherealness spell, however other creatures are still able to see you. While this property is active, you can only make dash, disengaged, hide actions. You can switch freely between these three forms(normal self, Haste, and Etherealness) for this duration of the feature as a bonus action and you can use the full 30 minute at once or in several shorter uses, each one using a minimum of 1 minute from the duration. The cape regain 1 minute of use for every 6 hours it aren't in use.

Bound until Death If a creature other than you, the wearer, attempts to physically remove the cape from your shoulders, it automatically fails because their hands(or something similar) slips as if the cape has no real physical form. The cape can only be removed by the wearer willingly or if the wearer dies.
