Dead-Eye's Eyepatch (5e Equipment)

Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement) This black eyepatch was once worn by the pirate captain Dead-Eye, known for his incredible aim with his blunderbuss. Although an astounding shot, the captain's greed corrupted him until, finally, his crew had to trap him in a cave, leaving him to his solitary, penniless death. Hawk-eyed Shooter. While you wear and are attuned to this eyepatch, any attacks made with ranged weapons gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls. While using firearms, however, you gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls. Additionally, you have advantage on Intimidation checks. Cursed. Once you attuned to this eyepatch, you find yourself unable to take it off unless you are targeted by the remove curse spell or similar magic. Until the curse is dispelled and you can unattuned from the eyepatch, you become increasingly greedy and find yourself trying to get every coin from every possible outlet of profit possible; you gain the flaw "I'm never satisfied with what I have—I always want more." |
