Wondrous item, rare These adamantine cufflinks, engraved with various symbols and patterns, are favored by those who wish to remain safe while in elegant outfits, such as nobles trying to avoid being taken out by surprise or eccentric warriors who would rather not rely on armor for protection. You can put on the cufflinks or take them off as an action. Overwhelming Elegance. While you're wearing the cufflinks, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit. Additionally, any additional effects that would trigger by rolling a 20 on an attack roll against you are negated. Curse. Whenever you cast a spell using a spell slot of fourth level or higher while wearing these cufflinks, roll a d6. On a 4 or higher, the spell fails and has no effect, as the disruptive magic of the cufflinks affects your magic. |
