Crystal Railgun (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (Railgun), Rare (Requires Attunement) This magic railgun appears to be made out of elemental crystals, with gunmetal internals. This weapon is a ranged weapon with the loading, heavy, and two handed properties. If you are proficient with railguns or other firearms you are proficient with the Crystal Railgun. Crystal Bullets The Crystal railgun shoots elemental crystals as its bullets, which have unique effects based on the crystal. You only need a single ounce of crystal for a bullet, and they don't need special processing. A shard you chipped off with a dagger just now will work the same as a specially sculpted crystal bullet. On top of the stated effects, each mundane bullet and the crystal bullets fired deal 2d6+dex piercing damage. Shards of metal will work for bullets just as well as shards of crystal. Fire Crystal Deals 2d8 fire damage Water Crystal Deals 2d8 cold damage Earth Crystal Deals 2d8 poison damage Air Crystal Deals 2d8 thunder damage Light Crystal Deals 4d8 radiant damage Dark Crystal Deals 4d8 necrotic damage Lightning Crystal Deals 6d8 lightning damage and knocks the enemy prone Psychic Crystal Deals 6d8 psychic damage and knocks the enemy prone Pure Crystal deals 8d8 force damage. Additionally, if this attack reduces the target to 50 hit points or fewer, you banish it. If the target is native to a different plane of existence than the on you’re on, the target disappears, returning to its home plane. If the target is native to the plane you’re on, the creature vanishes into a harmless demiplane. While there, the target is incapacitated. It remains there for 1 minute, at which point the target reappears in the space it left or in the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied. |
