Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement)

A wide bladed katana, fitted with a brass hilt and a guard resembling sharp teeth. The habaki has inscribed in it the symbol for hunger, a row of sharp teeth engraved in bronze. It glows bright red in the dark. This sword has an eye embedded within the blade. This sword was said to have been first found in a forest inhabited by cannibals, which the tribe was worshiping as a sort of god or deity. Those attuned will hear the words "Eat. Consume. Blood. Feast." in their sleep, no matter what type of dream they are having.

Necrotic Syphon. This longsword deals an additional 1d4 necrotic damage on a hit and you gain temporary hit points equal to the amount of damage dealt.

Focus. When you are the target of a spell or effect that causes you to make a Charisma, Wisdom, or Intelligence saving throw and you fail, you may reroll it. If you do so, you must use the new roll. This property may be used 2 times, and this weapon regains all expended uses at dusk.

Cursed. While attuned to this weapon, the only way to remove it from the user is with the remove curse or wish spells. When you go without food for a day, you gain a level of exhuastion. In addition, after one kills another creature with the sword, the user must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, you are compelled to take a bite and consume whatever creature was killed, whether that be an enemy or a fellow party member. This effect does not appear to take place if the user fights against constructs or undead.
