Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement)

When the cobra unfurls its hood, there are few who are not disturbed at the very least. It evokes a presence of power and danger, and this cloak weaves that presence into something tangible.

Venomous Biology. You have resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws to against being poisoned.

King's Hood. You can use an action to pull the cloak's hood up or down. While the cloak's hood is up you gain the following benefits:

  • You have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks.
  • Your canines elongate and sharpen into fangs, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack roll of your fangs and if you hit, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength or Dexterity modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike and you can choose to deal an additional 1d8 poison damage. You can add this poison damage a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses daily at dawn.
  • You can use an action to cast hypnotic pattern (save DC 13). The spell has its range altered to affect a 60-foot cone that originates from you. Once used, this property of the cloak can't be used again until the next dawn.
