Cloak of the Shadowalker (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement) This hooded cloak is a nondescript black garment that has an upper layer to sleet off rain and snow. It is black as night and has a wispy dark aura around the fringes. One rule of thumb for this item is that you are invisible only if the cloak's hood is over your head. If found in the supply of a shop, this cloak can be purchased for between 500 and 5500gp. Shadowstalk. As an action, while within 5 feet of another creature, you can step into that creature's shadow and remain there. While in a creature's shadow you occupy the same space as the creature, are considered invisible and cannot affect your surroundings. As an action you can leave that creature's shadow, appearing in an unoccupied space within 5 feet. While in a creature's shadow, you can use an action to teleport into the shadow of another creature within 60 feet that you can see. Shadowstep. As an action, while in a shadow, you can teleport to the shadow of an inanimate object (eg. Alleyways between buildings) you can see within 60 feet of you. Call Shadow. Once per day, as an action, you can summon 1d4-1 (minimum of 1) shadows to your aid, to unoccupied spaces within 30 feet of you. They each act on their own turn and roll their own initiative. They are friendly to you and any other creatures friendly to you. You can dismiss one or all the summoned shadows with a bonus action. You regain the ability to use this feature at dawn. If you use this feature while shadows from a previous summon remain, the old ones are dispelled. Shadow Skulk. While in a space covered by darkness (mundane and/or magic) you can spend a bonus action to lift your hood, making you invisible. You become visible only when you enter bright light. Shadow Guard. As a reaction you can raise the edge of your cloak when you are hit, giving you a +5 bonus to your AC until the start of your next turn. |
