Cloak of the Bone Devil (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Wondrous item (cloak), very rare (requires attunement by a creature of Evil alignment) This sickly white cloak has many bone-like studs and a red spike on the end of a singular coattail. Translucent white material that resembles an insect's wings drapes over the front and sides like a veil. While wearing the cloak, you have darkvision out to 120 feet that isn't impeded by magical darkness, you can speak and read Infernal, and you are also immune to the poisoned condition. The cloak has 12 charges and regains 1d4 + 3 expended charges daily at dawn. Devil's Hide. While wearing this cloak, as a bonus action, you can expend 1 charge to gain resistance to your choice of fire or poison damage for 1 minute, or 3 charges to become immune to one of those damage types for 1 minute. Infernal Wings. While wearing this cloak, as a bonus action, you can expend 3 charges to gain a flying speed of 40 for 1 hour. While flying in this way, the cloak transforms into a set of wings. Stinger of Bone. While wearing the cloak, you gain the ability to conjure a stinger and use it to attack a creature. As an action, you can expend 2 charges to make a melee spell attack against a target within 5 feet of you. When you make the spell's attack, you do so with a bonus of +10. On a hit, you deal 2d6 piercing damage and 4d6 poison damage, and the target must make a Constitution saving throw. If you are a spellcaster, you can use your spell save DC; otherwise, the DC is 18. On a failure, the creature is poisoned for 1 minute. At the end of each of its turns, an affected creature can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on a success. Fiendish Curse. While attuned to this item, magic that identifies your creature type identifies you as a fiend, as if under the effects of arcanist's magic aura. No creature but you can remove the cloak. |
