Clawed Symbiont (5e Equipment)

Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement) This symbiont looks like a disembodied crawling claw. When attempting to attune to this symbiont, the user takes 1d8 necrotic damage as the claw attached it self to the users arm burrowing tiny tendrils into the users skin. The user also gains one level of exhaustion. Onces attuned, the user gains a natural claw attack that deals 2d8 slashing damage. Attacks made with this claw count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances and immunities. To become unattuned to the claw, the user must make a DC 15 Intelligence saving throw or they take 2d8 psychic damage and gains one level of exhaustion. |
