Classes[edit]

The classes of Mass Effect are split into 3 core classes, which then cascade into a plethora of prestige classes.

Core Classes[edit]

  • Soldier: combat specialists excel in toughness, weapons, and head-on combat.
  • Infiltrator: specializing in both combat and tech, infiltrators combine powerful weapons with nigh-invisibility.
  • Engineer: tech specialists make use of advanced offensive programs to provide support to front-line fighters.
  • Sentinel: specializing in both tech and biotics, sentinels have the potential for unparalleled defenses.
  • Adept: biotic specialists manipulate mass effect fields to control the battlefield.
  • Vanguard: specializing in both combat and biotics, vanguards can rush behind enemy lines to deliver devastating close-range attacks.
  • Explorer: having some use in combat, tech, and biotics, explorers are jacks of all trades.

Racial Prestige Classes[edit]

Asari Prestige Classes[edit]

  • Huntress: typically known to the rest of the world as asari commandos, huntresses are highly agile shock troopers.
  • Valkyrie: typically deployed to facilitate retreats, valkyries combine large biotic fields with carefully-managed barriers.
  • Justicar: having sworn a personal oath to forgo all personal attachments in favor of upholding truth and justice, justicars are able to refine their natural biotics to absurd levels with constant meditation.

Salarian Prestige Classes[edit]

  • Operator: salarians with an innate talent for using small arms are typically taken into STG and trained to be hyper-lethal assassins.
  • Scientist: salarians with an innate talent for tech are typically taken into STG to develop and deploy new bioweapons.
  • Agent: salarians with an innate talent for biotics, which are incredibly rare within the Union, are automatically drafted into STG service from birth and trained to combine their otherwise-flashy abilities with salarian stealth tactics.

Turian Prestige Classes[edit]

  • Havoc: havocs utilize small-unit weapons and tactics designed to disorient and route enemy forces.
  • Saboteur: saboteurs take advantage of confusion caused by the Primacy's other special forces to disable enemy weapons and vehicles.
  • Cabal: cabals are small units purely-comprised of rare biotics-capable turians who are trained to focus their biotics into hit-and-run assaults.

Human Prestige Classes[edit]

  • Amonkira Devotee: while most drell under the Compact take on combat roles in place of their hanar saviors, devotees of the Lord of Hunters are some of the galaxy's best snipers.

  • Kalahira Devotee: while most drell under the Compact take on combat roles in place of their hanar saviors, devotees of the Mistress of Shadows can silently destroy their targets from within.

Elcor Prestige Classes[edit]
