This small, shimmering red crystal can be ingested to produce a variety of effects. The effects of Cherry are unpredictable, and can range from helpful to harmful. When consumed, the user must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 12. If the user passes, they must roll a d8 to determine a positive side effect. If the user fails, they must roll a d8 to determine a negative side effect.

1d8 Positive Side Effect
1 The user gains temporary hit points equal to 1d4 + their Constitution modifier.
2 The user's speed increases by 10 feet for 1 hour.
3 The user's next attack deals an additional 1d6 fire damage.
4 The user gains advantage on all Dexterity saving throws for 10 minutes.
5 The user becomes invisible for 1 minute or until they attack or cast a spell.
6 The user regains 1 expended spell slot of their choice.
7 The user gains resistance to all damage except psychic damage for 1 hour.
8 The user gains advantage on all Charisma-based ability checks for 1 hour.
1d8 Negative Side Effect
1 The user is blinded for 1 minute.
2 The user takes 2d6 poison damage.
3 The user is affected by a random short-term madness for 1 hour.
4 The user has disadvantage on all Strength-based ability checks for 10 minutes.
5 The user is paralyzed for 1 minute.
6 The user loses 1d4 hit points every round for 1 minute.
7 The user is frightened for 1 hour.
8 The user has disadvantage on all Intelligence-based ability checks for 1 hour.
