Chastiefol Spirit Spear (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (spear), legendary (requires attunement) A weapon made from the Sacred Tree of the Feywild possessing many mysterious abilities manifested as eight different configurations with the following abilities. Attunment. When a creature first attempts to attune to this weapon they must meet the following requirements first they must be a fey creature, two they must be good in alignment, three they must have all attunement slots available, four no other creature may be attuned to this weapon at the time, five the creature must have minimum wisdom of fifteen, six the DM is ok with them having this weapon. If not all requirements are met then the creature will take 10d6 psychic + 10d6 radiant damage due to the sheer power overflow of this weapon if this reduces them to zero HP then they are instant killed and cannot try again for a day though if they meet all requirements they instead will fall into a deep slumber and internally fight themselves (Use an avatar of death for this page 164 of the DM's guide) awakening in a minute whether they defeat themself earlier or later then they will wake up in a minute and be attuned. Passive Properties. To change configurations a bonus action is required and a free hand to control (move, attack, swap configurations) otherwise Chastiefol just sort of sits there. First Configuration Chastiefol. In first configuration, Chastiefol has a speed of 120 and a range of 300 acting as a Spear that can be used to attack as an action acting as if you were wielding it benefit wise so extra attacks carry over to chastiefol in this configuration you use your prof bonus + your wisdom bonus as your attack and damage bonus for this weapon. Second Configuration Guardian. In second configuration, Chastiefol takes on the statistics of a Stone Golem (See page 170 of the Monster Manual) under your control acting as you wish on your turn taking an action to control and it lacks a stone golems slow ability and is also immune to fire but vulnerable to cold and is limited to a maximum range of 60 lacking the ability to fly you can also use a reaction to swap to Guardian to have it take an attack for you the DM must say that you can block this attack with Guardian no action is required if Guardian is deployed and within movement, range to block an attack. Third Configuration Fossilization. In third configuration, Chastiefol has a speed of 30 and a range of 60 but otherwise behaves like First configuration Chastiefol but when you strike a creature with Fossilization successfully the weapon becomes lodged in said creature must immediately make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become restrained as its body slowly turns to stone a creature Restrained by this effect must make another DC 15 Constitution saving throw at the end of each of its turns. If it fails saves three times, it is turned to stone and subjected to the Petrified condition that cannot be removed. The failures don't need to be consecutive, keep track of them until the target fails three times. If the creature is physically broken while petrified, it suffers from similar deformities if it reverts to its original state. At least a fifth level spell is needed to remove this effect and if Fossilization is removed before they turn completely by you moving it or another creature removing it (DC20 str check) the effect will be dissipated on their next turn. This can only be used to turn q creature stone per day. Fourth Configuration Sunflower. In fourth configuration, Chastiefol has no speed and can manifest as a giant flower similar to a sunflower within a 120 range lacking the ability to fly. Only one flower can be manifested at a time and has the following statistics
Huge plant,
Armor Class 18 (Natural Armor),
Hit Points 120,
STR 19 (+4),
DEX 15 (+2),
CON 15 (+2),
Damage Vulnerability cold,
Damage Resistances Bludgeoning, Piercing, fire,
Senses Passive Perception 10,
Actions,
Multiattack. The sunflower makes three vine attacks and one blast attack.
Vine. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 2d4 + 4 bludgeoning damage and 1d4 + 4 piercing damage.
Blast. 60ft cone Attack: DC 18 dexterity saving throw or take 20d6 radiant damage. this attack can only be used up to half the user's proficiency bonus rounded down, times a day extra use can be expended during an attack to increase the damage by 60 for each extra use expended using this attack takes an action from you. Fifth Configuration Increase. In fifth configuration, Chastiefol has a range of 300 and a speed of 120 but now is made up of a cloud of kunai knives each one being a one slashing damage weapon with your prof bonus + wisdom bonus as your modifier to hit but no damage modifier you have a total of your prof bonus + wisdom bonus x 25 kunai. Whenever you attack using increase it takes an action then you can choose to target single targets and or form a AOE effect for single targets select all kunai you wish to have target the selected creature then have them all roll to hit for each point of success they get struck by 20% of the kunai so lets say that a creature has an AC of 12 and you send 100 kunai after them so you roll and in total get a 14 to hit so you would deal 60 slashing damage but if you had got a 16 you would have dealt 100 and you can keep attacking till you use up all the kunai speed but in order to attack a creature again then you would need to spend an additional 30fts worth of movement on those kunai otherwise this speed can be split between multiple creatures. Otherwise, you can mold the kunai into five foot cubes with at least 10 kunai per cube, and any creature that enters one of these cubes takes half the kunai rounded down in the cube slashing damage and takes this damage again at the end of their turn until they leave the area creatures you choose are unaffected by this effect. Once an AOE cloud is formed the knives in it cannot move until your next turn. Sixth Configuration Yggdra Cloth. In sixth configuration, Chastiefol wraps itself around you granting you a plus five bonus to AC and making your minimum AC 18 you also gain a flying speed of 30 long with a melee weapon attack that deals 3d8 slashing damage and takes an action to use. Seventh Configuration Luminosity. In Seventh configuration, Chastiefol lets off either dim light for 5ft, bright light for 15ft and dim light for 15ft or bright light for 30ft and dim light for 30ft after that this light can be moon or sunlight. Eighth Configuration Pollen Garden. In Eighth configuration, Chastiefol forms a protective barrier giving those inside it Total Cover from all outside attacks inside creatures also regenerate 1d10+ their constitution bonus each round with a minimum of one hit point regained But this barrier depending on how large it is has varying Hitpoints. If it can hold a Small creature it has 1000 HP for a Medium 800 HP for a Large 500 HP and For a Huge 300 HP Until destroyed/removed nothing can pass through this barrier. |
