Chastiefol (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (spear), rare (requires attunement) An angelic spear of unknown origin, Chastiefol delivers divine justice on evil. The spear does not take any magical attack or damage bonuses. However, it can transform into what is called "configurations", and has four. Each has it's own properties, and takes one bonus action to transform. The four main forms are Luminosity, Spirit Spear, Swarm, and Pillow. In order to take away Chastiefol, it is a contest of Wisdom(whoever is trying to take it away) versus Charisma(the current user). If you aren't a paladin or a cleric, you have disadvantage on the wisdom check. If you aren't a paladin or a cleric, you have disadvantage on the charisma save. Pillow. Pillow is the standard form of Chastiefol, where is just appears to be a fluffy green pillow. It can cast fly one time per long rest. After that, it hovers 5 feet above the ground with a movement speed equal to the users. Luminosity. Sheds 20 feet of bright light and 10 feet of dim light while in this form. Spirit Spear. When in this form, the spear does normal damage. (1d6/Versatile 1d8, Thrown [30/80] ) It is considered magical for the sake of overcoming resistances. The spear also floats by the user's side, which allows them to wield it without touching it. The range of this telepathic connection only works for 5 feet. Swarm. Swarm creates a floating cloud of daggers that are able to deal damage to the target like a swarm of insects. [4d4 piercing, Finesse, Light, Thrown [10/30] The swarm floats near the user, so the user can wield it without touching it. The range of this telepathic connection is 10 feet.
