Chaos Bomb
6th-level Evocation
Casting time: 1 action
Range: 60 feet
Components: V, S
Duration: Instantaneous

You hurl a massive, if unstable, orb of concentrated elemental chaos onto your enemies to detonate in a whirl of entropic destruction emanating out from a point you choose. Each creature in a sphere with a radius of 1d6 × 5 feet centered on that point makes a saving throw using an ability score based on the roll of a d6 in the Chaos Save table below. Each creature takes 9d12 damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. Each creature that makes the saving throw rolls an additional d12 to determine the damage type it takes from in the Chaos Damage table below.

Any creature that succeeds on the saving throw by 6 or more can add a d6 to any d20 it rolls for 1 round. Any creature that fails the saving throw by 6 or more replaces any d20 it rolls with a d12 for 1 round.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 6th.
