Camera Obscura
Developed by Dr. Kunihiko Asou, the Camera Obscura was devised to look beyond the material plane and, "take pictures of impossible things. A rare item, it is solely known to exist in areas of extraordinary planar disturbance and evil.

Camera Obscura: Can only be used on extraplanar creatures, Specifically those from the Plane of Shadow. Any attempt to use the camera against corporeal creatures has no effect. Once a successful hit is landed, the creature must remain in a visible state. Upon defeat, the target is sent back to its proper plane, but there is a 20% chance of actually sending the subject to a plane other than its own

Caution: The Camera Obscura is still considered a dangerous object. Overuse of the camera may result in the user being driven insane by what they see.

Note: Film may only be found or purchased in the Plane of Shadow or where shadow planar rifts are frequent.
