An effective formula for calculating weapon value

50 caps per 1d6 of damage * weapon rarity (1= common, 1.25=uncommon, 1.5=rare, 1.75=very rare, 2.5=legendary) * 1.25 Merchant Markup

Example: PL 8 MFC 10/shot Heavy Weapon (Exotic Weapons Proficiency (Energy Weapons))

Damage 3d12 Magazine 30 Int
Critical 20 Size Large
Damage Type Energy Weight 8 pounds
Range Increment 75 feet Purchase DC 575 Caps
Rate of Fire A Restriction Very Rare, West Coast


3d12 = 6d6 (36 Max damage)
Rarity: Very Rare = 1.75
Sell Value = (6*50) * 1.75 = 575 Caps
