Bumbo's Bag of Trash (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Wondrous item, Legendary This black bag of trash emits a repugnant odor, overwhelming the senses. After a creature grasps the bag and holds onto it for 24 hours, its latent powers are unlocked, revealing three glowing balls of different colors within. When the bag is opened, the user gains a +1 bonus to all ability scores. However, if the bag remains closed, the following benefits are bestowed: Charges. This bag has 5 charges and regains all expended charges after a long rest. SPELL SLOT GET! Whenever a spell slot is used, roll a d20. On a roll of 20, the expended spell slot is immediately regained (passive ability). NEW SPELL GET! If the wielder is a spellcaster, they can choose to roll three dice: a d8 to determine the school of magic, a d10 to determine the spell level, and a d4 to determine a random effect. Note that Bumbo's Bag of Trash cannot grant the wish spell or anything similar by any means. This ability consumes 2 charges. Bumbo's Trash Land. As an action, the user can plunge their hand into the bag and retrieve a random item. The item's rarity is limited to common magic items at most and can be as mundane as a trinket. The item received is influenced by the user's actions, with a bias toward negative behavior. For example, if a person who has recently committed a heinous act reaches into the bag, they are more likely to receive a common item. On the other hand, if someone who frequently engages in charitable deeds reaches in, the best they might get is some rope and lamp oil. This ability consumes 1 charge.
