Ultra-Tough Hide. Brute Chieftains have 50 temporary hit points. If they do not receive damage for 6 rounds (36 seconds), they regain these temporary hit points. Temporary hit points gained in this manner can not exceed 50.

Heavy Critical When a Brute Major scores a critical hit, they roll two additional weapon damage dice.

Enraged When the brute drops below half their maximum hit points, they become enraged for 1 minute. They gain a +5 bonus to their AC and a +10 bonus to damage rolls, but become berserk and can only use their pistol whip or Type-2 Gravity Hammer attacks.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The Brute Chieftain makes three attacks with its Type-52 Directed Energy Support Weapon, Type-2 Gravity Hammer or Pistol Whip.

Type-52 Directed Energy Support Weapon. Ranged Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, range 60/240 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) radiant damage. The chieftain has disadvantage on attacks with this weapon on their turn if they move more than 5 feet.

Type-2 Gravity Hammer. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (2d12 + 7) bludgeoning damage. Additionally every creature within 5 ft. of the Brute Chieftain must attempt a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they are moved 15 feet away from the chieftain and take an additional 7 (1d12) bludgeoning damage. On a success, they are moved 5 feet away from you.

Pistol Whip. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d6 + 7) bludgeoning damage.

Spike Grenade (4/day). Every creature within a 5 foot radius centered on one point within 30 feet of the Jiralhanae must attempt a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 22 (5d6 + 2) piercing damage. On a success, they take half as much damage.

Type-33 Fuel Rod Gun. Ranged Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, range 60/150 ft., one target. Hit: 32 (6d8 + 5) radiant damage. Each attack with this weapon targets all creatures within 15 ft. of the target. For every 5 ft. these "secondary targets" are from the initial target, they take -9 (2d8) damage.

Jiralhanae Chieftains are the highest rank not only within the Covenant, but within Jiralhanae society in general, ruling over a clan of their kin. They use might comparable to Lekgolo to crush their foes, and deploy hordes of their Covenant pawns to cover any expanses their Gravity Hammers can not reach.
