Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement by a creature with blindsight, darkvision, or tremorsense)
This is a small metal rod with a stylized eye sigil on the end. While you hold it, the range of your darkvision, tremorsense or blindsight is doubled. In addition, you become immune to the blinded and deafened conditions.
You can press the end of this item to a willing creature's flesh. That creature takes 1d8 fire damage, and is branded with the eye symbol. While the brand remains, the range of that creature's darkvision, tremorsense and blindsight senses is doubled, and they gain proficiency with the Perception skill. In addition, they add double their proficiency bonus to their Perception checks, instead of their normal proficiency bonus. The brand lasts for 8 hours. Once this property has been used, it cannot be used again until the next dawn.
