Wondrous item, very rare (major) (requires attunement by a creature with Strength 13 or higher)
This iron and leather bracer covers the wielder's forearm and palm. When you wear it, your grip strength feels titanic. While attuned to and wearing the bracer, you gain the following benefits applied to the arm wearing the bracer:
- You gain a +2 bonus to Athletics checks made to grapple or climb using that arm.
- You gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls of melee attacks made using an unarmed strike or melee weapon held with that arm, unless that melee weapon is affected by the bullet point below.
- You can ignore the two-handed property of weapons held with that arm. Weapons with the versatile property use their higher damage dice when being used with only that arm.
Part of a Set. If you find and attune to a second bracer of titan grip, you gain the following benefits while wearing both:
- Both bracers require only one attunement slot.
- The +2 bonus to Athletics checks becomes a +5 bonus as long as you are using both arms.
- When you wield a melee weapon with two hands that isn't oversized, you gain a +5 bonus to the damage rolls of melee attacks made with that weapon.
- You are treated as one size larger for the purpose of wielding weapons without penalty.
