Boreal is the Chaotic Evil god of winter and the sea, and it is a task he fulfills with wild abandon. He stands at Thule's side on atop his fortress of ice, and serves his dark master to the best degree. His Avatar is a wild-looking man, with long black hair, wielding a mighty hammer called Froststrike, which is said to turn any living being that is struck with it to ice.
Dogma[edit]
Boreal exhorts his followers to destroy, pillage and plunder indiscriminately, and many of his followers are also pirates whose savagery is said to be great.
Clergy and Temples[edit]
Boreal is worshipped on the isle of Aesirheim as Ymir, god of storms, and it is this god to whom the raiders of Aesirheim sacriffice their captives to. In Westhome, his worship is illegal, yet he is worshipped nonetheless. His temples are usually standing stones that overlook the sea, from which his worshippers can cast sacrifices into the murky waters.
