Wondrous Item, artifact (Requires attunement by a spellcaster)

Millenia algo, a group of wizards got frustrated about their lack of knowledge. So they called the Archmage Aranil, and together, they created the Book of Secrets, a book that could show its wielded the secrets of the Multiverse. Currently, Aranil still has it, and the detrimental properties of the book are suppressed while it is attuned to Aranil.
Random Properties. The Book of Secrets has the following random properties:

  • 2 minor beneficial properties
  • 2 major beneficial properties
  • 1 minor detrimental property
  • 2 major detrimental properties


Forbidden Whispers. If you are attuned to the Book of Secrets, you can open the book and ask one question. You will then receive the answer in a strange whisper, and the knowledge of how to apply it. You must complete a short or long rest before you can use this property again.

Arcane Secrets. While attuned to this Artifact, you know all 1st through 9th level spells for your class.

Innate Knowledge. You can cast the Identify spell at will.

Supreme Knowledge. Your Intelligence becomes 25 unless it is already 25 or higher.
Destroying the Book of Secrets. the book can be destroyed by having any god of knowledge or magic write down a lie in the book, causing it to simply pop out of existence.
