Bone Staff (5e Equipment)

Weapon (quarterstaff), Very Rare (Attunement Required) This ornate quarterstaff is designed with a sanded, rough texture, embedded with multiple rings of onyx stone, fitted with a beguiling quality of a skull on top. It seems to have been carved from the raw bone of a mighty dragon, and enchanted with the powers of a lich. As an action you can fire an barbed, spiked, and jagged orb of bone from the staff's carved mouth, pulsating necrotic energy, with a range of (60/180). This orb deals 1d10 piercing and necrotic damage. Additionally, should you kill the target with the orb you can use a bonus action to send forth a spectral wyvern at the corpse, as it sinks into the ground and arises new as 1 skeleton per 4 squares of space that the old body used. For example, a Large creature spawns 1 skeleton. a Huge creature spawns two skeletons, and so on.
