Weapon (spear), uncommon (major) A bone ballista spear is a spear that is magically made by bone ballistas to shoot at oncoming enemies, and upon a bone ballista's death one spear is made as a bone ballista always has a second spear ready after the first was shot. Necrotic Rot. On a hit this spear deals an additional 2d6 necrotic damage. Rotten Peirce. When you hit a creature that isn't undead with this spear that creature must make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 1d4 necrotic damage at the start of each of its turns for 1 minute. An affected creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to this property of the bone ballista spear for the next 24 hours. |
