Bone Apple Tea (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Potion, uncommon (minor) Bone Apple Tea is a brew concocted by hags primarily as a prank, but in recent years has unexpectedly found footing as a "regional specialty" drink for selling to unsuspecting tourists. When drunk, you fall under the effects of the tongues spell for 24 hours, with a twist: Any words that you speak register in creatures' ears only as crude approximations of the intended speech, using words that are only phonetically similar to what you are intending to say. While in this state, a creature must use its action to succeed a DC(20) Intelligence check to be able to understand a sentence that comes out of your mouth. |
