A bomb suit, also known as a blast suit, is an extremely heavy suit of armor commonly worn by EOD technicians. It is designed to be able to withstand the pressure and heat generated by an exploding bomb, as well as any resulting fragments or shrapnel. Thanks to incorporating multiple thick layers of protective material, and covering its wearer head to toe, a bomb suit provides some of the best protection available. However, it is cumbersome, highly restricting an individual's mobility and situational awareness. A bomb suit includes a built-in SCBA, for protection against incidental smoke resulting from explosions and from the effects of chemical or "dirty" bombs.
Protection from Explosives. While you are wearing a bomb suit, you have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, slashing, and fire damage. Additionally, you cannot be ignited or set on fire by non-magical flames.
Cumbersome. While you are wearing a bomb suit, your speed is halved, and you also have disadvantage on attack rolls, initiative checks, Perception checks, Dexterity checks, and Dexterity saving throws.
